The fading severity, and the improvement offered by diversity to reduce it, is presented in the context of the second‐order statistics for on‐body belt‐head channel. Average LCR and AFD values are presented and compared at three frequencies and also for the three antennas for branch and combined signals. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
