A planar antenna with a broadband circular polarization is proposed for integrated single chip radio transceivers. The antenna uses a printed dual loop structure with a coplanar strip feed, which is compatible with millimeter wave packaging technology. The concept is verified by the measured results of a prototype antenna. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
