The cascaded dual‐mode square‐loop resonator (DMSLR) with Hilbert‐curve perturbation is introduced to design wide band‐pass filter in this article. To obtain low insertion loss ( − 0.85 dB), high out‐of‐band rejection level ( − 51.82 dB), and wider band (BW 62.3%) responses, using Hilbert‐curve perturbation and cascaded technique are proposed here. The equivalent circuit and Chebyshev response are presented for approximation and analysis. Results including surface current distributions and frequency responses are presented and discussed. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
