A microstrip antenna array with a low sidelobe level and circular polarization for the 2.45 GHz RFID reader application is introduced. The measured results show that the array achieves a sidelobe level of −26 dB, the axial ratio of under 3 dB within main lobe, a VSWR ≤2 impedance bandwidth of 62 MHz (2.420–2.482 GHz). © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
