A novel broadband multi‐T‐shaped monopole antenna is presented. The proposed antenna has a broadband impedance bandwidth of 32.9%, which covers PCS, UMTS, WiBro, and WLAN bands. For frequencies over the operating bands, the proposed antenna displays omni‐directional radiation patterns. The proposed antenna has compact dimensions of 14 mm × 14 mm. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
