The paper describes a simple procedure enabling analysis of annular slot antennas backed by a dielectric layer. The formulation assumes thin slot approximation, which, together with typical body‐of‐revolution scheme, allows to formulate the integral equations for modal magnetic current coefficients. Integrals of Green's functions appearing in the formulation are computed using mixed spatial/spectral method. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
