This paper examines the additional cross‐polarisation tracking errors generated because of the depolarisation effect of an ogive‐shaped radome. A comparison is made between the cross‐polarisation tracking errors of a linearly polarised monopulse radar in the presence and absence of an ogive‐shaped radome. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
