Measurement and analysis of optical parameters in anisotropic slab one‐side leaky waveguides

Leaky modes of anisotropic slab one‐side leaky waveguides have been analyzed, and an efficient method for measuring optical parameters of these waveguides is presented in this article by using the prism coupling technique. Measured results show that errors of the refractive indices are within 2.1 × 10 −4 . © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
