An experimental investigation about the Circular In‐Phase Hybrid Ring power divider is presented. This device is a Five Ports Hybrid Ring that has potential applications in Antenna Array feeding Networks. Its principal behavior characteristics are analyzed and compared with a conventional device. A prototype, which includes the effects of SMA connectors, was designed and measured corroborating the behavior of this circuit as a conventional five ports microstrip hybrid. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
