A small size 60‐GHz full duplex transceiver module is developed for high data rate millimeter wave wireless access link. To realize a compact and low cost transceiver module, a planar millimeter wave bandpass filter is integrated by using broadband coplanar ribbon‐bond interconnects in the module. The overall size of the module except input and output connectors is 50 mm × 75 mm × 23 mm. The measured RF output power is 16 dBm at 1‐dB compression, with conversion gain of 30.6 dB and the conversion gain of the receiver being 23.4 dB. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
