In this article, an application of the asymptotic waveform evaluation technique to accelerate wideband scattering analysis by lossless dielectric objects is given. The solution is based on the volume integral equation together with the method‐of‐moments. Computational examples for so‐called bodies‐of‐revolution are given. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
