A new ultrawideband antenna is presented in this letter, and the fractal structure is used to obtain such a wideband feature. The parameters and the characteristics of the antenna are given. The simulated and the measured results show that a bandwidth larger than 6:1 is achieved. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
