A wideband dual mode bandpass filter at 9.0 GHz with a bandwidth of 20% has been demonstrated in low temperature cofired ceramics (LTCC). A new stacked‐ring resonator (SRR) is proposed and its design methodology as well as analysis is presented in details. The simulated and measured results are in good agreement. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
