A simple and compact coplanar waveguide to slotline transition operating from 22 to 34 GHz is presented. It is designed for feeding tapered slot antennas (TSAs) and has a slightly larger than usual output slotline width, which helps either to shorten the length or improve the gain of the TSA. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
