A high selective stepped‐impedance dual‐band bandpass filter is presented. The filter has a feature of two tunable passbands over a wide frequency range and compact size. A multi‐coupling scheme is introduced so that two finite transmission zeros are generated between the two passbands to achieve a high out‐of‐band rejection. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
