In this article, a novel multilayer second‐order coupled‐resonator bandpass filter with harmonics suppression is proposed to improve the stopband characteristics. The proposed filter has been implemented in a five‐layer configuration using multilayer PCB technology. The measured results agree very well with the full‐wave EM simulation, showing more than 35 dB harmonics suppression. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
