Distributed amplifiers are used as a one‐way amplifier, with two ports terminated and unused. A new topology that places a feedback low‐noise amplifier at one of these unused ports is presented, which can be used as a TDD/TDMA RF front end, negating the need for a switch. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
