A two‐port reconfigurable Hilbert‐curve patch antenna (RHCPA) is proposed. The patch is configured using the 3 rd ‐order Hilbert curve. At least two configurations of the antenna are formed by introducing some slots and switches. Two high‐isolated feed points are used individually in order to obtain maximum radiation in two orthogonal planes. The simulated and measured results agree well with each other. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
