In order to miniaturize and self‐bias a coplanar isolator, new method is to use thin magnetic films. The results presented in this paper show that this component behaves like an isolator in the 50‐GHz band. The influence of the magnetic and conductor films for increasing the isolator properties is studied. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
