The performance of an integrated dielectric wedge‐lens employing a nonradiative dielectric type of structure is described. The integrated lens is constructed by perforating the dielectric with a series of holes designed to modify the dielectric constant in a predetermined fashion. It is shown that the radiation‐pattern degradation caused by phase error can be compensated in this way. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
