This paper describes a novel microstrip bandpass filter with transmission zeros in the stopband, low insertion loss in the passband, and compact size, which is achieved by giving two or three transmission paths to the input signals. The demonstrated filters are designed, fabricated, and tested. Theoretical and experimental results are presented. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
