A novel set of multiband antenna structures, which combine different geometries based on fractal elements, are presented. The new combined radiating elements profit from the multifrequency properties of the noncombined geometries, thus providing a mechanism to adjust the antenna parameters. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
