A three‐pole ceramic monoblock filter is analysed using HFSS. The numerical results are compared with the measurements, and possible reasons for disagreement between the measured and simulated results are investigated. The development of new techniques to minimise this discrepancy is also presented. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
