Dielectric properties of strontium sodium niobate ceramics at the S band of microwave frequencies are studied using a network analyzer. The microwave cavity perturbation technique is employed for this study. Dielectric parameters such as complex permittivity and conductivity of strontium sodium niobate ceramics are determined by measuring the changes in the resonant frequencies and Q values of the cavity, due to the introduction of the sample. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
