A design method for DBS‐TV reception antennas with tilted beam using a radial feed line with a slot radiating array is proposed. A cylindrical TEM wave excites the slots and must be placed eccentrically in order to produce a tilted beam. The proposed design method allows us to obtain good results for tilt angles up to 10° as is demonstrated. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
