A formulation for the bilateral distributed amplifier network using a normalized transmission matrix approach is proposed in this letter. The analysis takes into consideration the effect of C gd in the active device. Our approach is compared to the theoretical predictions for the unilateral case and measured results. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
