The radiation characteristics of a new millimeter‐wave omnidirectional antenna consisting of circular‐rod corrugations gloved in a dielectric shell operating in the TM 01 mode are calculated with the use of the mode‐matching method for different parameters, with a particular attention directed to the Brewster‐angle effect on the performances of the antenna. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
