In this article, mitigation techniques for antenna coupling levels are introduced. Each antenna is slanted for the polarization mismatch. This reduces the coupling level between co‐frequency band antennas. Antenna radiation patterns are also considered as a parameter of antenna performances. In all, 30 antenna arrangements are analyzed. Each arrangement gives its coupling level and radiation pattern. With these parameters, one can be determine which arrangement is better from electromagnetic compatibility point of view. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 33: 37–40, 2002
