Mol. Nutr. Food Res . 2022, 66 , 202200166 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.202200166 Hyp‐Gly‐containing peptides are abundant in collagen hydrolysates of Salmo Salar . The peptide OGEFG inhibit platelet aggregation via antagonism effects on P 2 Y 12 receptor to regulate Gβγi‐PI3K‐Akt and Gαi‐cAMP‐VASP signaling. Long‐term administration of OGEFG significantly reduce atherosclerotic plaque formation without side effects in ApoE –/– mice, indicating the possibility to be developed as an effective diet supplement to prevent atherogenesis and thrombotic disease. This is reported by Bo Li and co‐workers in article number 2200166.
