Mol. Nutr. Food Res. 2018, 62 , 1800562 DOI: 10.1002/mnfr.201800562 In article number 1800562 , María Roca and co‐workers demonstrate in vivo for the first time that dietary chlorophylls undergo a particular metabolism and accumulate in the mammalian liver. In addition, using a specific inhibitor, they show in vitro that pheophorbide a is absorbed in the intestinal epithelium via facilitated diffusion through the scavenger receptor class B type 1.
