New adaptive algorithm of direct data domain is presented which can recover the signal in the presence of mutual coupling. The proposed algorithm can estimate the coupling coefficients without utilizing any auxiliary sensors. Numerical simulation shows that the proposed algorithm can accurately recover the signal in the presence of mutual coupling. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J RF and Microwave CAE, 2011.
