Very accurate and simple neural models for coplanar waveguide (CPW) synthesis are proposed. The results obtained from these neural models are compared with the results of quasi‐static analysis, the other synthesis formulas, and other experimental works. The accuracy of the neural models is found to be better than 0.4% for 11,206 CPW samples. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J RF and Microwave CAE, 2005.
