In this paper, the author employs and develops the continuation theory and degree theory for k ‐set contractions to investigate the existence of positive periodic solutions of a general neutral functional system with feedback control state‐dependent and distributed delays. The results give new methods for studying neutral systems, which extend and improve existing results, and have further applications in many fields such as population dynamics.
