This paper is devoted to obtaining a new oscillation criterion for a class of neutral delay differential equations of the typeu ( x )ym − 1( x )κ′ + q ( x ) z κγ ( x ) = 0 ,where m   ≥  4 is an even integer and y ( x ) : = z ( x ) + g ( x ) z ξ ( x ) . It should be noted here that the results obtained improve and complement those given by Xing et al. (2016). An example illustrating the applicability of the new criterion is presented.
