In this paper, we establish some new interior regularity criteria for suitable weak solutions of the liquid crystals flow in terms of the smallness of the scaled L p , q ‐norm of the velocity field or the vorticity, which extends the results by Scheffer in [ Communications in Mathematical Physics 1980; 73 :1–42].
