A conducting dusty gas flow in the presence of a given applied magnetic field is modelled by an initial boundary value problem. The continuous dependence of solutions backward in time to this model is studied. The electric and induced magnetic fields are assumed to be negligible and the dust particles are non‐conducting. A uniqueness result is also derived.
