In this paper, we establish a constant‐type growth estimate in the Lipschitz norm of solutions to the 2D Navier–Stokes equations with fractional diffusion and a polynomial‐type growth estimate of solutions to the 3D axisymmetric Navier–Stokes equations. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
