When a flap is elevated In a human, the patient is usually managed with bed rest. The same conditions are impractical in dogs. Sometimes a flap in the dog must be protected from the dog itself by applying a special cast or a bucket on the head. An easy, safe, inexpensive, and quick method to dress the dog, by simply applying hot pepper into the dressing, is described.
