The U.S. House of Representatives on July 29 passed the Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies (Labor‐HHS) funding bill providing significant resources to help in the fight for suicide prevention and mental health crisis intervention. Funding support includes increases in a number of critical programs, including the 988 mobile crisis system, commencing July 2022, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for suicide prevention efforts.
