Recognizing the importance of addressing the mental health challenges new fathers are faced with during the perinatal period, Northwestern University and the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago have conducted a pilot program, considered by officials to be the first of its kind to test an intervention for dads that addresses mental health concerns, such as stress, anxiety and depression.
