While telehealth is no substitute for in‐person care, especially for consumers with serious mental health conditions or who are early in their recovery, the virtual technology has generally made a considerable difference for consumers in need of mental health service access, says the director of policy and advocacy for the Mental Health Association (MHA) in New Jersey.
