The U.S. Senate released its discretionary Labor‐Health and Human Services spending bills Nov. 10, which includes $6 billion in Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) funding — equal to what the House passed in August. Mental health research received funding increases, while other mental health programs were level‐funded.
