Following last year's historic decision that United Behavioral Health (UBH) made mental health and substance use disorder coverage decisions based on flawed internal guidelines, a federal court ruled this month that UBH must reprocess plaintiffs' claims and complete this process within one year. The insurer has also been ordered to reform its handling of behavioral health claims and improve employee training.
