The death by suicide of a health care worker four months ago has not only prompted her family to advocate on her behalf for attention to mental health issues for physicians, but it also prompted lawmakers to introduce a bipartisan bill creating grant programs for evidence‐informed best practices, employee education, and mental health and behavioral support for health care workers.
