Following a proposed rule by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) that would see a marked reduction in payments in 2021 to psychologists providing services to Medicare patients, the American Psychological Association (APA) is planning to ask the CMS to preserve and increase payment for psychological services.
