The COVID‐19 impact on Georgia's economy, including plummeting sales and tax revenues, has prompted Gov. Brian Kemp to call for deep budget cuts that would have an impact on mental health services and programs. Advocates, who have embarked on a campaign to restore proposed cuts, say the across‐the‐board 14% cut would be devastating to the state's mental health community at large.
