Alleging illegal denial of residential treatment of mental health conditions, a Washington, D.C.–based law firm has filed a class‐action lawsuit against health insurer Anthem Inc. The complaint, filed April 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, was filed on behalf of two plaintiffs denied coverage for residential treatment of their mental health conditions, and all those similarly situated.
