New voter polling data, letter to Congress fuel support for CCBHC expansion

A bipartisan majority of voters (82%) think it's important that the federal government increase funding to expand access to mental health and addiction treatment, including 77% of Republican voters and 90% of Democratic voters, according to new polling released Feb. 18. Additionally, the National Council for Behavioral Health on Feb. 13 released a letter signed by 60 national organizations urging Congress to extend and expand the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) demonstration.
