New Mexico officials announced this month a settlement agreement with five behavioral health providers following Medicaid fraud allegations six years ago that practically decimated the state's behavioral health system. Altogether, 15 New Mexico providers experienced service disruptions, layoffs and closures. Now officials say they plan to focus on building a new behavioral network.
