Can artificial intelligence (AI) be used to help treat depression? Researchers from a Costa Mesa, California–based clinic think it can and have conducted research to explain how AI can be used to determine which depressed patients are likely to get better and which aren't. Depression remains an important risk factor for Alzheimer's disease, yet few neuroimaging biomarkers are available to identify treatment response in depression, researchers stated.
